A total of four people have now been remanded in custody on suspicion of involvement in the murder and all four are residents of Växjö municipality.
On Monday, two young men aged 17 and 18 were requested to be detained by prosecutor Emma Berge on probable cause on suspicion of murder.
At the same time, three people who had been arrested for aiding and abetting murder were released, but the suspicions against them remain.
All arrest hearings will be held on Tuesday.
It was during the night until Saturday that a 28-year-old man was shot to death in the residential area Araby in Växjö.
The police suspect that the incident is part of a criminal settlement.
