  The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban Provisional Government Amir Khan Mutaki expressed his gratitude to the international community for its assistance at a press conference held in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan on the 14th.

He said that the Afghan people still need assistance and cooperation from the international community, and humanitarian assistance should not be linked to political issues.

Mutaki called on countries that have helped Afghanistan in areas such as education, health, refugees and drought to continue to provide support.

  Mutaki also expressed the hope that foreign aid workers who have left Afghanistan will return to Afghanistan, "Afghanistan has no war or conflict."

He promised to guarantee the safety of all foreign aid workers.

  UN Secretary-General Guterres convened a high-level ministerial meeting on the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan on the 13th in Geneva, Switzerland, calling on the international community to help Afghanistan out of its economic difficulties.

According to reports, all parties have pledged to provide humanitarian aid to Afghanistan totaling more than one billion U.S. dollars.
