His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received at Qasr Al Watan in the capital, Abu Dhabi, the credentials of two new ambassadors appointed to the country.

His Highness, in the presence of Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, welcomed the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden, Lislott Anderson, and the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Robert Lauer. who presented their credentials to His Highness, marking the commencement of their new duties.

In turn, the two new ambassadors conveyed the greetings of the King of Sweden and the Prince of Luxembourg to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and their best wishes for good health and continued payment, and for the people of the Emirates further progress and prosperity.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum wished the two new ambassadors success in carrying out their duties, leading to the strong bilateral relations linking the UAE with the Kingdom of Sweden and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to higher levels of cooperation at all diplomatic, economic and cultural levels.

His Highness assured the two ambassadors that they will enjoy the full support of all concerned authorities in the country, led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and his assistants, in order to enable them to perform their work to the fullest possible extent.

The ceremony of receiving the credentials of the two ambassadors was attended by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and a number of ministers and senior officials.
