Police and an ambulance were alerted to a company in Hallstahammar on Monday afternoon where a man was injured.
According to the police, the man was initially fainted, but was awake and talkable when he was taken by ambulance to hospital.
What caused the accident is still unclear, but the police are investigating the incident and have drawn up a report of a workplace accident.
