The Paris Assize Court, where

the trial

is being held

, will hear the defendants, but also

the survivors and the families of the victims

who wish to speak.

Many still hesitate.

The hearings are due to start at the end of September with five weeks of hearings: one for the attacks on the Stade de France and the terraces, then four for the Bataclan massacre.

Each will have half an hour.

The police officers who intervened on the evening of November 13, 2015 will also take the stand, and the French and Belgian investigators who have traced the entire route of the terrorists before and after the attacks.

Several jihadists convicted in other cases, but having links with the 13-November attackers will also be cited as witnesses.

The families and relatives of the accused and deceased terrorists are also summoned.

Researchers and political leaders also heard

To put these attacks in a more global context, researchers will be interviewed.

For example, Gilles Kepel, specialist in Islam and the Arab world, or the political science researcher Hugo Micheron, who was interested in the question of radicalization in prison.

Finally, officials in office at the time of the events will come to testify, such as former President François Hollande, his Prime Minister at the time, Manuel Valls, Bernard Cazeneuve Minister of the Interior or even the former Paris prosecutor François Molins.
