The police intervened for a violent argument between three men this Saturday in the district of La Source in Orléans (Loiret), reports France Bleu Center-Val de Loire.
One of the men, 28, was allegedly attacked by the other two with hatchet and katana, witnesses said.
The victim, whose hand was almost cut off, underlines the police, was taken care of by the emergency services, and transported to the CHR of Orleans.
The attackers fled and could not be stopped by the police.
The victim is known to the police
Known to the police for drug use, the man did not explain and did not file a complaint against his attackers, although he seemed to know him.
The national police still opened an investigation for willful violence with a weapon.
