The decision was taken after a meeting on Monday, explains the party's administrative secretary, Lansana Komara.

“

After consultation with all the structures based inside the country up to Conakry, all the structures agree that the party is represented at this consultation.

The meeting was held and we therefore validated the base decision.

The secretary general of the party will represent the RPG in these discussions which are first of all a "first

contact

 ", specifies Lansana Komara.

“

We're going to listen and then we'll see what to do.

The RPG is a party of dialogue, we have always favored dialogue, we are for consultation, for negotiation.

And we especially want to favor the release of our president Alpha Condé.

 "

To the question of knowing what the RPG thinks of the desire of the ECOWAS to get the former president out of Guinea, the administrative secretary of the party replies that "

it will depend on the professor himself

".

We first want his release and respect for his physical integrity

," insists Lansana Komara.
