September 13, 2021 Singer Britney Spears announced on social media her official engagement with personal trainer Sam Asghari, collecting over one and a half million views in just a few hours.
The 39-year-old pop princess posted a short video on Instagram showing her ring finger with a diamond ring and commenting: "I can't believe it!"
Next to her Sam Asghari, 27, who, in turn, posted a photo on his profile in which he kisses Spears and shows the finger with the ring.
The two first met in 2016, when they performed together in the music video for her hit "Slumber Party".
The pop star has two children from a previous marriage to rapper Kevin Federline and had a brief marriage with childhood friend Jason Alexander, which was canceled after just 55 hours.
