When asked in an NHK poll whether Afghanistan is at risk of becoming a hotbed for international terrorism again, about 60% answered that they were at risk.

NHK conducted a poll for three days from the 10th of this month using a method called "RDD" that calls fixed-line and mobile phone numbers randomly generated by computers for people aged 18 and over nationwide.


The number of people surveyed was 2,179, and 56%, or 1227, responded.

"I think it's dangerous" was 63%, "I don't think it's dangerous" was 4%, and "I can't say either" was 25%.

Also, when asked if they think that the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics will promote understanding of the diverse society that was the philosophy of the Games in Japan, 5% said that they would make great progress, and 47% said that they would make some progress. 37% said they didn't make much progress, and 6% said they didn't make any progress.
