The Committee for the Management of Emergencies, Crises and Disasters caused by the Corona pandemic in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi announced a decrease in the rates of infection with the Covid-19 virus to 0.2% of the total tests in the emirate, according to the activation of the emirate’s strategy to combat the Covid-19 pandemic and the successes achieved through the strict application of precautionary and preventive measures. .


The measures implemented within the emirate’s strategy include intensifying vaccination campaigns for all members of society, campaigns for groups most vulnerable to infection, continuous active investigation campaigns for all members of society, and the application of an integrated system for epidemiological investigation of positive cases and contacts.


The emirate’s strategy to combat the Covid-19 pandemic also included the application of protocols for the vital sectors of education, economy and government services, activating the green traffic system to enter public places, continuous evaluation of employment rates in public places, strict supervision of the application of procedures, and the use of modern and innovative technologies to detect injuries.
