"We did not abduct him ... we brought him home. We had to do it since we had no information about Eitan's physical and mental health," he

"We have brought him home, as his parents wanted, that is, to return home, but they had to go back because of the coronavirus, however, when they were here months ago, we talked with them about the return," he said.

Eitan's parents, Amit Biran, 30, and Tal Peleg, 27, lived for several years in Italy, where Amit was studying medicine.

Their youngest son, Tom, was born in this country in 2019.

act that violates Italian and international laws

."

"We hope that the case will be resolved as soon as possible according to the sentence of the juvenile court," he added in a statement.
