“On September 13, Vladimir Putin will make a working trip to the Nizhny Novgorod region, where the main stage of the joint strategic exercise of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus“ West-2021 ”will take place at the Mulino training ground,” the Kremlin’s website said.
During the main stage, the Russian armed forces, in cooperation with the troops of Armenia, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia, will work out actions to repel the enemy's offensive, maneuver defense, deliver a concentrated fire strike and defeat the wedged-in group of a simulated enemy.
Earlier, the Pskov unit of the Russian Airborne Forces for the first time carried out the landing of more than 600 personnel and 30 units of military equipment at night.
