Al-Gergawi: Nafees is an actual translation of the tenth document “Fifty Principles”

The Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Preparation for the Fifty Years, Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, reviewed the government program to support the private sector to accommodate 75,000 citizens, during the next five years, "Nafis", which consists of 13 projects and development initiatives, with a total cost of 24 billion dirhams.

Al Gergawi said: "The Nafes program is an actual translation of the ten (50 Principles) document that defines the UAE's economic and development path for the next 50 years," pointing out that "NAFES" is related to two of the 10 principles, which are the second principle that confirms that building a better economy. The most active in the world is a high national priority, and the fourth principle, which confirms that the main driver of development is human capital.

Al Gergawi recalled the will of the late Sheikh Zayed, saying: "Sheikh Zayed's will is that development, construction, industry and development are all dependent on the people of this country, and they will remain linked to man, his mind... his wisdom... his abilities... and his determination... his seriousness and diligence," adding: " This country needs work and perseverance... giving, sacrifice and competition... and continuing day and night so that the UAE flag continues flying in all areas of excellence and development.

He added: "Zayed still lives with us with his wisdom, mercy and love for his people, and Zayed still lives with us as Khalifa bin Zayed.. and Mohammed bin Rashid.. and Mohammed bin Zayed.. and Mansour bin Zayed.. and their brothers. Zayed will remain with us in our journey for the next 50 years, because the tree that Its planting is still and will remain fruitful, and because the commandments that he made are still adhered to by his children.”

Al Gergawi stressed that “the government program to support the private sector to accommodate 75,000 citizens during the next five years will be a lively and changing program that keeps pace with the aspirations of the leadership, and activates the participation of citizens in the private sector, under the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, and the program will remain an effective and supportive partnership for the private sector in the country. To consolidate a balanced, active and competitive national economy.”

He added: "The UAE is living its best period today, entering the (new fifty) at its strongest, establishing the highest level of decent life for its people, and wrapping all hearts with loyalty and love around its leadership."

The Nafes program aims to build a pool of national expertise and cadres qualified to join the private sector institutions in the UAE, in various vital fields, encourage a culture of innovation, self-employment and entrepreneurship, and empower the private sector in the UAE as the main driver of the national economy.

Last week, the UAE government launched the first package of "50 projects", which includes 12 projects, aimed at transforming the UAE into the largest center for investment, attracting talent and entrepreneurs, and building the largest partnership with global economies.
