As noted, we are talking about the pilots of the Afghan Air Force, who, after the Taliban * came to power in Afghanistan, fled with their relatives to Uzbekistan on planes and helicopters of the Afghan Air Force.

According to the newspaper, the Taliban put pressure on the Uzbek authorities in order to obtain the extradition of the pilots who had left Afghanistan.

Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office of Uzbekistan reported that 22 Afghan aircraft and 24 helicopters, carrying 585 military personnel, illegally crossed the border on August 14-15.
