The mushroom picker alerted the police, who set up two cameras at the scene and exchanged the weapon for a replica before putting it back in hiding.
The next day, a 19-year-old man appeared on the scene.
He dug into the ground at the weapons cache and then hid the plastic bag again.
The police were nearby and arrested him.
The man has said that he did not know that it was a gun that was hidden there.
According to him, he was looking for a piece of hashish that he hid there.
The 19-year-old is sentenced to one year and six months in prison for attempted felony.
