The incident took place in the evening on the bus of line 11, where the man was asked by two controllers to show his ticket. In response, the attacker, of Somali origin, pulled out the knife hitting the two workers and then ran away. Chased by the police on the run, he stabbed three other people, including a woman and a child. Five wounded in total. 



The arrest was ordered by the prosecutor Davide Ercolani, who is coordinating the investigations. At the moment, no leads are excluded regarding the motive for the attacks.
