The Roads and Transport Authority has announced the provision of 126 public transport buses (Expo buses), which transport free visitors to the Expo 2020 Dubai, from nine sites distributed in various regions of Dubai, in addition to two lines to transport visitors from hotels directly to the site of the event, in addition to providing a bus service to transport visitors. Visitors to the exhibition from the parking lots to the exhibition gates, as well as the bus service to transport visitors between the gates inside the exhibition, and the buses will carry out 1956 direct trips daily on the days from Saturday to Wednesday, rising to 2203 direct trips on Thursday and Friday, with a train time ranging between three and 60 minutes.

The Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority, Mattar Muhammad Al Tayer, confirmed the authority’s readiness to provide a unique, easy and fast transportation service for visitors to Expo 2020, from various regions of the Emirate of Dubai, and from the rest of the Emirates, through 203 buses dedicated to transporting Expo visitors from the Emirate of Dubai. Al Tayer explained that the authority has allocated 57 buses to transport visitors to Expo 2020, from various regions of Dubai, carrying out from 455 to 476 trips per day. As for the sixth and seventh stations, they are the International City Station and Dubai Silicon Oasis, and eight buses operate on the two stations, running 78 trips per day in both directions on the days from Saturday to Wednesday, and 82 trips per day in both directions on Thursday and Friday, with a train time of 15 minutes, while the eighth station is located in The Dubai Mall, and five buses are allocated to it, carrying out 55 trips per day in both directions on the days from Saturday to Wednesday, and 59 trips per day in both directions on Thursdays And Friday, with a rushing time of 30 minutes, and the ninth station is located at Dubai International Airport, and was designated for itEight buses, running 52 trips per day in both directions, seven days a week, with a turning time of 20 minutes.

Al Tayer explained that the authority provides two additional services for visitors to the exhibition, the first is the service of transporting passengers from the car parks to the three gates of the exhibition: Opportunities, Mobility, and Sustainability. Thursday and Friday, with a rushing time of three to seven minutes, and the second service is buses transporting visitors between the gates inside the exhibition (buses that transport the public). The authority has allocated 15 buses for this service, running 310 trips per day from Saturday to Wednesday, and 350 trips on Thursday and Friday. The authority has also allocated 12 spare buses.
