The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship and the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management announced that residents who hold valid residencies from countries from which entry was previously prohibited, who have received full doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine approved by the World Health Organization, will be allowed to return, as of September 12. .

The decision includes arrivals from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Namibia, Zambia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa, Nigeria and Afghanistan.

And they stated that all arrivals will be required to submit a request on the website of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, and complete the application for proof of vaccination to obtain the necessary approvals, with the need to present this approval, in addition to the certified vaccination certificates upon departure.

They will also be required to submit a negative corona test result (PCR) within 48 hours from the date of departure, provided that the tests are from accredited laboratories, carry (QR Code), and conduct a rapid laboratory test (Rapid PCR) before boarding the plane, in addition to conducting a laboratory test. (PCR) upon arrival, and on the fourth and eighth days, with adherence to all precautionary and preventive measures, with the exception of those under 16 years old.

As for people who have received full doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine approved by the World Health Organization in full doses, and whose residencies have expired while they are outside the country, in one of the countries covered by the closure, and since the issuance of the ban decision for each country, they can come to the country under a new entry permit , provided that their status is settled after their entry into the state.

Noting that all preventive and precautionary measures will remain in effect with regard to the excluded groups who do not have the “Covid 19” vaccine coming from these countries, which were previously announced.

Arrivals are required to submit applications on the Identity and Nationality website.
