Back to spring.

The Séries Mania international festival will return from March 18 to 25, 2022 in Lille and its region, the management announced on Thursday.

It indicates, moreover, to have welcomed more than 54,000 spectators during the last edition which was held, last week.

The festival also launched a platform,, which recorded 55,000 visits and 300,000 views, the festival officials said in a statement.

Series Mania, which is traditionally held in the spring, took place from August 26 to September 2, after one cancellation and two postponements due to the health situation.

Site open all year

The festival site remains open "all year round for professionals in order to allow them to get in touch via the Who's who or to discover and source projects in development", underlines the management of the event.

This year, the Icelandic series


, soon on Arte, won the Grand Prix in the international competition.

The Croatian series

The Last Socialist Artefact

was awarded the Best Series of the International Panorama.

The Franco-Italian series


(on Salto and soon on France Télévisions), adapted from the eponymous novel by Emile Zola, won the audience award.
