The facts date back to January 14, 2020. A truck driver who had just left his depot in Avignon was assaulted at the Bonpas bridge.

A car with three men on board had forced him to stop.

At gunpoint, the driver abandoned his truck and one of the criminals took the wheel.

The car and the truck were found set on fire.

The manager of the transport company, who brought a civil action, estimated his material damage at 21,500 euros.

It is the one who was driving the car at the time of the facts, a 28-year-old man, who was sentenced on Monday.
