The Cabinet Personnel Bureau has compiled and announced the results requested by each ministry and agency regarding the number of national civil servants for the next fiscal year.



According to this, 1822 people to counter terrorism and cyber attacks, to strengthen the foundation of security and maritime security, 875 people to improve the diplomatic and security system, and 494 to respond to infectious diseases such as the new coronavirus. A total of 7442 people have been added, excluding temporary increases such as people.



On the other hand, each ministry and agency says that the total number of employees can be reduced by 6418 by reviewing operations, and as a result, the total number of employees is requested to increase by 1024.



In addition, in the request for structural reform, the Ministry of the Environment was asked to establish a new "Cyber ​​Bureau" in the National Police Agency and to realize the government's goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions to zero as a whole by 2050. It includes the placement of a deliberation officer to promote the initiative.
