The ceremony is taking place in Moscow.
Earlier it was reported that Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov arrived at the farewell ceremony.
Also, as reported by the TV channel "360", Honored Artist of Russia Denis Maidanov came to say goodbye to Yevgeny Zinichev.
The funeral will be held on September 10 at the Northern Cemetery of St. Petersburg, closed to the press.
