Mohammed Aslan and his family live in the village of Sulgara in northern Afghanistan.

For the past twenty years, he has lived in constant anxiety about ending up in the crossfire between the Taliban and government forces.

Now that the Taliban have taken control of the country, he feels relaxed and calm.

Women are barely visible in the village, and once they are out they wear the burqa, which they always did.

Many men here have the same view of women and girls as the Taliban.

But even though Mohammed Aslan and many others in the village are with the Taliban, they do not want a return to how it was in the 90s.

Hear the farmers in the village talk about their views on the new Taliban regime in the video.
