He obviously had a big hair in his hand.

To avoid working, a Swedish tax advisor had found an unstoppable trick.

"Instead of taking calls from customers, Andreas called his own mobile number, which had the effect of putting him on 'busy' in the system and incoming calls were taken by someone else." , explains a disciplinary report from the Swedish tax authority.

Between March 10 and May 5, the 28-year-old Swede - who risks dismissal - called his personal number 32 times for a total of 55 hours, or seven days of actual work in the space of two months, notes the tax authorities

An "extremely low" motivation

"Some of these calls sometimes lasted for hours," according to the report.

Employed since May 2020, he had been telecommuting since January 2021 due to the pandemic.

In April, one of his supervisors noticed that he was making unusually long phone calls compared to the average tax exchange.

When questioned, the employee eventually admitted that these calls were not part of his job, even though the internal investigation subsequently showed that he continued to do so four times after this interview.

Summoned again in May, the employee defended himself by saying that he had "extremely low" motivation to work.
