Despite eased restrictions - tough time for the hotel industry in the future

Hotels in Jönköping municipality have been forced to get rid of staff during the pandemic.

Now the industry is screaming for qualified staff.

- It will take a long time to build up our operations again, says Sofia Hagman, who runs the Grand Hotel in Jönköping together with Mileva Blomberg.

Statistics Sweden, Statistics Sweden, recently released statistics showing that Sweden's households spent more money on hotel and restaurant services during the month of July compared with the same period in 2019. This effect was also felt in Jönköping, but despite this the future will be tough in Jönköping.
