Regarding the border measures for the new coronavirus, the government is considering shortening the waiting period at home, etc., which was requested of immigrants to Japan, from 14 days to 10 days, provided that they have been vaccinated. Is proceeding.

As part of the border measures for the new coronavirus, the government requires all immigrants to wait at home for 14 days.

Regarding this, the government said that it is necessary to gradually normalize socio-economic activities as vaccination progresses worldwide, and the waiting period is 14 days to 10 on condition that vaccination is being carried out. We are considering shortening the number of days.

It is intended for people who have been vaccinated with Pfizer, Moderna, or AstraZeneca, and for the time being, it is a condition that they have a vaccination certificate issued by Japan, the United States, or the EU = European Union.

The government is coordinating this measure to begin at the end of this month at the earliest.
