  9. Case of illegal sand mining in the protected area of ​​Shi Mouhu and others in Wuhan, Hubei

  In June 2021, according to clues reported by the masses, the public security organs in Wuhan, Hubei, seized an illegal sand transporter in the waters of the Yangtze River near Parrot Island in Wuhan, arrested 3 suspects at the scene, and seized more than 1,500 tons of river sand and counterfeit sand.   In March 2021, the Guangyuan Public Security Bureau in Sichuan successfully eliminated the illegal sand mining gang of Han Mouqiang who had been entrenched in the mainstream of the Jialing River for a long time through clues and intelligence research.
