This was stated by the Minister for Innovation and Digital Transition Vittorio Colao presenting the Cloud Italia strategy.
By 2021, the call for tenders will be published for the construction of the national strategic pole that will create the cloud on which public administration data will be migrated. This is what is foreseen by the Cloud Italia Strategy presented by the Minister for Technological Innovation Vittorio Colao and by the Undersecretary with responsibility for services Franco Gabrielli. The award of the tender and the implementation of the PSN is expected by 2022 while the completion of the migration is expected by 2025. The publication of the call for tenders for the construction of the national strategic pole will take place by the end of 2021. "A days there we are waiting for proposals for the National Strategic Pole to arrive ", added Colao.
For migration, administrations will have to classify data and services on the basis of the indications of the National Cybersecurity Agency, with the support of the digital transformation department, define the migration plans that will be validated by the Department.
At the presentation of the strategic policy document for the implementation and control of the PA Cloud, in addition to Minister Colao, were present Franco Gabrielli, undersecretary of state delegated for security, Roberto Baldoni general director of the National Cybersecurity Agency and Paolo de Rosa, chief technology officer of the Department for Digital Transformation.
