  The inaugural meeting of the International Research Center for Sustainable Development Big Data and the 2021 International Forum on Sustainable Development Big Data opened in Beijing on the same day.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, delivered a video speech stating that China’s establishment of a sustainable development big data international research center has significant and extensive international influence and is of great significance to the global promotion of scientific and technological innovation and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The Chinese Academy of Sciences will make every effort to build an international research center for sustainable development big data, organize a sustainable development big data international forum, and build a high-level communication platform for colleagues from all walks of life.
