The American bulk mail order company Amazon wants to build eight more logistics centers in Germany and complete them by autumn next year.

As the company also reports, it wants to create 3,000 new jobs in the course of this.

The new buildings are to be built in Dummerstorf, Erding, Friedrichsdorf, Helmstedt, Hof / Gattendorf, Neu-Ulm, Weiterstadt and Wenden.

Further distribution centers are planned in each of the two Hessian municipalities.

Amazon already has a large location in Hesse with around 3500 employees.

In the past twelve months alone, the group has created more than 3000 permanent jobs in logistics in Germany. "Now more than 3,000 more will be added next year," quoted Amazon as quoting its Vice President Customer Fulfillment in Europe, Stefano Perego.
