UN representative held talks with Taliban in Afghanistan

“Today Baradar and his delegation met with Griffiths and his representatives,” Taliban spokesman Muhammad Naim wrote on his Twitter account.

Following the meeting, the UN promised to continue cooperation and assistance to Afghanistan.

On September 2, the UN resumed humanitarian flights in Afghanistan.

Earlier, the organization expressed hope for the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan.
