In this first weekend of September, it will be bad weather in most of Italy. The Peninsula is under the influence of western currents with a cyclonic curvature, inside which unstable impulses travel which tend to affect mainly the southern peninsula, with prevailing rainfalls. The Civil Protection has triggered the orange alert for today and tomorrow on the northern and central-northern Tyrrhenian slopes of Calabria. Based on the available forecasts, the Department of Civil Protection, in agreement with the regions involved - which are responsible for activating the civil protection systems in the territories concerned - has issued a warning of adverse weather conditions. Meteorological phenomena, impacting on the different areas of the country,they could determine hydrogeological and hydraulic criticalities which are reported, in a national summary, in the National Criticality and Alert Bulletin which can be consulted on the Department's website (www.protezionecivile.gov.it). The meteorological picture and the critical issues forecast for Italy is updated daily on the basis of new forecasts and the evolution of the phenomena and is always available on the website of the Department of Civil Protection, together with the general rules of conduct to be followed in case of bad weather.
