New Zealand's minister is gaining huge popularity on social media because of his naughty son who made a surprise appearance during a live broadcast.

According to the British Guardian on the 31st of last month, New Zealand's Minister of Social Development, Carmel Sepuloni, who was working from home due to the spread of Corona 19, conducted a video interview with Radio Samoa, a radio station in Auckland, New Zealand on the 30th.

However, during the interview, the door where Secretary Sepuloni was located suddenly opened and a boy entered the room with a playful smile.

Minister Sepuloni introduced himself as his son with a bewildered expression, and then hurriedly turned his back to his son.

The son, who entered the room, grinned brightly and waved a uniquely shaped carrot towards the camera, interrupting the video interview.

Minister Sepuloni hurriedly reached out and stopped his son, but the son did not give in and grabbed the carrot with his other hand and shook it again.

The sabotage of the naughty son and the appearance of Minister Sepuloni rebuking such a son were still broadcast.

The broadcast host, who was watching this in real time, burst into laughter, and the broadcasting station quickly changed the screen.

This video has now recorded close to 200,000 views, bringing joy to netizens.

Minister Sepuloni shared the video on Twitter, recalling the dizzying memories, saying, "You can see it with a smile now, but not then."

He added, "It must have been a comfort to parents who work from home and work from home at the same time," he added.

Netizens showed various reactions, such as "I respect all parents who work from home and take care of their children" and "My playful son gave me a big smile in a difficult situation due to Corona."
