The journalist asked the head of state if he uses a mobile phone at all.

“No,” Putin replied.

In January 2019, the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov told why Russian President Vladimir Putin does not have a smartphone.

According to him, "the head of state cannot have a smartphone, because it means that a person agrees to full transparency."

At the same time, Peskov noted that Putin does well without a telephone.
