A citizen student in the ninth grade, a member of the Emirates Inventors Association, has created a smart application to help patients, to facilitate communication between the patient and the nurse, especially arthritis patients, and people of "dumb" determination.
The student, Maryam Hassan Rashid, told "Emirates Today" that she completed the application within two months, with the aim of supporting patients and the elderly, especially those who need continuous health care, and who cannot meet their requirements on their own, and therefore called it the "smart nurse", stressing that the support The great pleasure she enjoys from her mother and the Emirates Inventors Association contributed to the completion of the application well, and in a relatively short time.
She explained how the application, which falls within the “Digital Nurse” applications, works, that the patient opens the application and writes his name, bed and room number, and a list of the services he needs will appear for him. The nurse satisfies his need.
She indicated that there is another feature in the application is to detect any problem in the (WiFi) connection or the network to alert the nurse, and if this happens, an alert message will appear for the nurse.
The student stated that she was awarded the title of "Inspiring" by the Emirati Women's Encyclopedia, after unremitting efforts and excellence in launching many purposeful innovations, in addition to receiving many awards, and her active participation in various competitions and community events.
