During the night from Thursday to Friday, the police of Montauban, in Tarn-et-Garonne, are called for a fight at the level of the rue Jean-Moulin.
When they arrived there, around 2 am, several people fled in the sight of the police, some in a car.
To escape, they take all the risks, especially oncoming traffic lanes.
Instead of avoiding a police car coming in front of them, they hit it head-on.
The four officials who were inside were slightly injured and the vehicle was badly damaged.
Three of the occupants of the fleeing car were arrested and taken into custody, including the driver who continued to rebel during his arrest, indicates the police union Alliance du Tarn-et-Garonne.
The latter "strongly condemns this violence and these criminal acts and expects justice to provide a firm criminal response to these acts".
The investigation was entrusted to the urban security of the Montauban police station.
