Three high school students were arrested Tuesday, in Moselle, for assault on June 18 in Metz, reports Lorraine Actu.

That day, a man, who thought he was going on a date, had been beaten up by three people.

Badly beaten and stripped

The suspects, an adult and two minors, allegedly tricked their 25-year-old victim onto a dating site.

The man was severely beaten before having his cell phone and tablet stolen.

The injured victim received a total day off work (ITT) and filed a complaint.

The Departmental Security investigation identified the three high school students.

They will be tried soon: the adult by the Metz criminal court and the two minors by children's judges from Metz and Sarreguemines, where they are from.
