Peskov: Putin keeps the topic of inflation in Russia under personal control

"The president keeps the topic of inflation under constant control, personal control," Peskov's statement to TASS quoted.

According to him, Putin regularly discusses this topic with the leadership of the government.

Peskov noted that inflation has now increased, but thanks to the measures taken by the Bank of Russia and the government, there is confidence that it will return to the set limits soon.

Earlier, Putin commented on the actions of the Russian government and the Central Bank in relation to inflation.
