China News Agency, Berlin, September 2 (Reporter Peng Dawei) Less than a month before the German Bundestag election on the 26th of this month, the latest authoritative poll released on the 2nd showed that the support rate of the Social Democratic Party reached 25%. Kerr’s Coalition Party fell to 20%, and the Green Party, which had a high voice earlier this year, also fell to 16%.

In terms of candidates for prime minister, the Social Democratic Party’s Scholtz leads the Coalition’s Raschelt (16%) and the Green Party’s Bell Burke (12%) with a 43% approval rate.

The latest "German Trend" poll completed by the authoritative German polling agency Dimepo, commissioned by German TV One, gave the above results on the same day.

On the most critical question in the poll, "If the Bundestag elections are held this Sunday, which party would you vote for", the support rate for the Coalition Party dropped by 7 percentage points from last month to 20%.

German TV station pointed out that this is the lowest approval rate in history that the coalition party has obtained since the station released the "German Trend" poll.

The support rate of the Social Democratic Party increased by 7 percentage points from last month to 25%.

Since the election campaign stage of the last general election, the Social Democratic Party has only briefly led the Coalition Party by 1 percentage point in the "German Trend" poll in February 2017.

Schultz, the current Federal Deputy Chancellor and Finance Minister of Germany, is far ahead of the other two major competitors in all questions in this poll.

In terms of ability, 55% of the voters surveyed believe that Scholtz has the strongest ability. Only 14% of voters support Raschelt and 7% of voters support Bell Burke.

In terms of leadership, Schultz received a support rate of 53%, while Raschelt and Bell Burke received support rates of 15% and 8%, respectively.

In terms of affinity and credibility, Schultz also leads by a large margin with 42% and 43% approval rates respectively.

An analysis by a German TV station pointed out that the increase in Schultz's support rate directly benefits his Social Democratic Party.

26% of the supporters of the Social Democratic Party said that Scholtz, as a candidate, played a decisive role in their choice to support the party; 48% of the party’s supporters believe that the candidate and the party’s convincing stance share two factors. This constitutes their reason for favoring the Social Democratic Party.

The candidates of the Coalition Party and the Green Party failed to play a similar role in boosting the election of their party.
