Five people taken to hospital

A major rescue system has been put in place, with the mobilization of sixteen firefighters in six trucks.

Five people in total were taken to hospital, specifies France Bleu Normandie.

Three of them were slightly injured and the other two shocked.

Local radio reports that one of the cars was partially run over by a heavy truck during the accident.

Disturbances were observed for several hours in the area.

Traffic was cut off on two lanes, in both directions, while the firefighters intervened.

It was then necessary to wait for the evacuation of the vehicles by the troubleshooters for a total resumption of traffic.
