won the silver medal in the 400 freestyle category S8. The blue swimmer finished second with 4'25 "93 behind the Russian Andrei Nikolaev (4'25" 16) and in front of the American Matthew Torres (4'28 "47).
Xenia Palazzo
conquered the bronze in the 400 meters style women's free swimming category S8 (physical impairments). It is the third medal of the 23-year-old from Verona at these Games, after silver in the 200 medley and gold in the 4X100 freestyle relay. For Italy it is the 41st podium .
