August 31, 2021 The Joint evacuation task force (Jetf) returned to Rome from Afghanistan this evening.
To welcome her on arrival at Ciampino airport with military honors, the Minister of Defense, Lorenzo Guerini, accompanied by the Commander of the Joint Chief Operating Officer (Covi), General of the Army Corps, Luciano Portolano.
On the plane 56 Italian soldiers and 4 civilians, three Afghan minors with an interpreter.
