Today (31st), one day before the deadline for the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, the U.S. Central Commander, who was in command of the evacuation operation, declared the end of the withdrawal.

A total of 123,000 people, including Americans, helpers and military personnel, have been evacuated from Afghanistan so far.



The number of Afghan civilians killed in yesterday's U.S. airstrike on vehicles threatened by suicide bombings has risen to 10, including seven children.



U.S. military authorities have launched an investigation, saying they take the matter very seriously.
