It was at 13:32 that police, helicopter and ambulance were sent to Landvetter where a motorcyclist and a pedestrian collided.
The motorcyclist is said to have not received any physical injuries after the accident, but the woman involved was taken to Sahlgrenska Hospital by ambulance where she later died from the injuries.
- The woman must have crossed a pedestrian crossing when she was hit, there is a speed limit of 70 km / h on that stretch, says Johan Josarp, duty officer at the police.
The woman's relatives have been notified.
