The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company “SEHA” directed 10 tips and instructions for parents and faculty at the beginning of the school year, to prepare students to return to school after spending the summer vacation, after two years of studying remotely, due to the exceptional circumstances caused by the spread of the “Corona” virus. In addition to medical instructions and advice to take care of students' health, especially with changing the daily routine of sleeping and waking times, meal times, and other life matters.

Dr. Doaa Barakat, a consultant psychiatrist for children and adolescents at Al Ain Hospital, confirmed that the first days and weeks of returning to school require patience and endurance from everyone until students and parents adapt, and that parents must adhere to school dates, and continuous follow-up with teachers .

She pointed out that during the past two academic years, students have become accustomed to the default study system, staying at home and receiving lessons via electronic devices, pointing out that students in the preparatory and secondary stages may face some difficulties, until they adapt to returning to the old system again, but with regard to Children in the kindergarten and primary stages, especially those who will attend school for the first time, will face greater difficulty after they have become accustomed to the remote teaching system for two consecutive years, and they are required to be dealt with in particular, such as teaching them the system in an initial and basic manner, and it is the responsibility of teachers for this category of Students have to deal with them as if they are attending school for the first time, and accept their permanent movement activities, and not focus during lessons until they are accustomed to the attendance system.

She stressed the importance of guiding and assisting children by dividing the academic content, and giving them time to rest during the lesson, while taking advantage of this opportunity for any motor activity for them within the scope of the lesson, such as distributing papers and books to the rest of the classmates, and rewarding them if they adhere to the rules with colleagues and teachers.
