Vigilance has paid off.
An armed man, reported to the police by the priest of a Parisian church where he had come to make a donation, was arrested Sunday morning, we learned from a police source.
The priest of the parish of Saint-Luc, in the 19th arrondissement (north-east) of the capital, waited for the suspect to leave the church on foot, where he said he wanted to return for the 11am mass, to give the alert .

The man was finally spotted and then arrested by police officers from the Ile-de-France Network Brigade (BRF), not far from the parish.
He was carrying a 44 caliber revolver loaded with two cartridges.
The suspect, known for common law offenses but unknown to the intelligence services, was taken into custody at the 19th arrondissement police station, seized of the investigation.
