The Wall Street Journal reported that North Korea has restarted its Yongbyon nuclear facility.

The Wall Street Journal, citing a report from the International Atomic Energy Agency, reported that "there are signs that the reactor has restarted since early July and continued to release coolant."

The report said that the Yongbyon reactor did not operate from December 2018 to early July 2021, and it is known that if the restart is confirmed, it clearly violates the UN Security Council resolution.
