Zakharova called for an early normalization of the tense situation around the Kabul airport and expressed hope for the restoration of peace and security in Afghanistan.
Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported that the number of Afghans killed in the terrorist attack in Kabul is approaching 200. The attack also killed 13 American soldiers.
