It was in June and July that the dog attacked and killed two other dogs in Sala.

At the beginning of August, the dog was taken into care by the county administrative board.

- The dog has not shown any clear aggressive behavior and has been healthy at the veterinary inspections that have been done.

As long as this dog has a muzzle and a fixed leash, it must be prevented from injuring or causing inconvenience, says Alexandra Röjder, animal welfare officer at the County Administrative Board of Västmanland.

The dog must therefore carry a muzzle, be connected with a leash two meters high and no one under the age of 15 may rest or supervise the dog.

The costs for the dog's care are estimated to land at up to SEK 60,000, which the dog owner will have to pay.
