The company states that they will also carry out a clean-up in the store, one of the measures to limit the spread of the virus.
According to Malin Bengnér, infection control doctor at Region Jönköping County, it is extremely unusual for infection to occur via the environment and decontamination is not recommended.
- If there is a feared infection in a room, it is good to clean and wipe it off.
But regular cleaning is enough, no special methods or special cleaning agents are required, says Malin Bengnér.
It is still unclear when the store will open its doors again, but according to H&M, it will happen when the situation allows.
